Kathleen has over 25 years of bio/pharmaceutical industry and consulting expertise specializing in brand commercialization. She is passionate about navigating the ever-transforming U.S. healthcare market dynamics to assist clients in identifying opportunities to create value for the patients they serve.
Prior to joining Blue Fin Group, Kathleen was Principal Consultant of her own management consulting firm where she helped biopharma clients and their strategic partners create brand presence and customer value through data-driven insights. Before founding KSedge Consulting, Inc., Kathleen held sales and marketing leadership positions at AstraZeneca where she was responsible for product launches across a range of therapeutic areas. Kathleen began her career at a privately-held specialty respiratory company, Muro Pharmaceutical, Inc. There she held several roles in sales and marketing, which involved working across the organization with Legal/Regulatory, Medical & Clinical Affairs, Trade, Managed Care, and senior leadership to help grow the business for acquisition in a deal valued at $350 Million.
Kathleen is recognized for her product/portfolio marketing experience, including: market development and competitive analysis, strategic positioning and branding, lifecycle management from pre-clinical through launch/growth/mature brands, and building external customer advocacy. She has extensive experience in a broad range of clinical disease areas with Rx, OTC, and specialty pharma therapies and devices.
